How to Install
Step 1: To avoid any compatibility issue, make sure your device is currently running C636B063 or C636B070. You can verify this from Settings > About Phone. And in case you didn’t know this update can only be flashed through the stock recovery.
Step 2: Download “honor-4C-Lollipop.zip” from above and extract it. Inside CHM-U01C636B330_TA_version > software > dload you’ll find the Update.app package.
Step 3: Connect your Honor 4C to the PC in mass storage mode and copy that Update.app package to the external SD card inside “dload” folder.
Step 4: Next, disconnect the USB cable and install the update from Settings > Update > Menu > Local Update. You don’t need to back up your data as it won’t be affected unless you hard reset it.
Step 5: Your phone will automatically reboot and install the update. In case you encounter an error it’s probably because the new firmware is incompatible with the current system.
